The pre-professional program at DCS is for students who are dancing at an intermediate to advanced level and are considering a career in dance. These students will have the opportunity to join either the Sarasota Youth Ballet, the Sarasota Youth Tap Ensemble, or the Sarasota Jazz Project. These specialized groups will have the opportunity to perform locally and as part of a community outreach program.
The Dress Code for our Junior Pre-Professional Program will follow the dance and footwear requirements for our Junior classes. The Senior Pre-Professional Program dancers will use the dress code requirements of our Teen classes.
